Job summary

Ambo Properties in Kilgore, TX is seeking a Lead Maintenance to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of residential buildings. You will work to keep units comfortable and safe, addressing residents’ needs with authenticity and professionalism.

This role requires EPA and HVAC certifications, a high school diploma or GED, and 1–3 years of maintenance experience. You’ll perform HVAC troubleshooting, routine checks, and general upkeep while maintaining records and upholding safety codes.

• Install and repair HVAC systems in residential units
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC units
• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC issues
• Ensure safety codes and regulations are followed
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents
• Maintain accurate service records
• Perform additional general maintenance repairs (carpentry, painting, trash outs)

Position Overview:

The Lead Maintenance will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our residential buildings. This position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and repair HVAC systems in residential units.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and address their concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Additional General Maintenance Repairs (as needed)- Carpentry, painting, trash outs etc.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, and working in confined spaces.
• Ability to move furniture, appliances, and equipment as needed.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions as required by the job.
