Job summary
SFR3 LLC in Columbia, SC is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician for our single-family rental portfolio. You’ll diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems (split systems, heat pumps, furnaces, minisplits), perform refrigerant work (EPA 608), and coordinate multi-trade service calls.
Bring your own truck and hand tools; EPA Universal certification is required. Expect a guaranteed 40-hour week, mileage reimbursement, a quarterly bonus, 2 weeks PTO (increasing to 3), and comprehensive health
Qualifications
- EPA Universal certification required.
- Minimum 3+ years hands-on residential HVAC diagnostics and repair.
- Own vehicle and hand tools; mileage reimbursement provided.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems including split systems, heat pumps, furnaces, and minisplits.
- Perform refrigerant work with leak detection, recovery, and charging (EPA 608).
- Troubleshoot thermostats, condensers, blowers, capacitors, and boards.
- Possibly install full systems or change-outs; multi-trade work as needed.
- Document work with photos in the field app on iPhone/iPad.
