Premium Air Inc. is seeking a skilled HVAC installer to lead residential system change-outs and supervise installation crews. You will ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications and local codes while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

You will perform start-up, testing, and commissioning, verify refrigerant charge and electrical wiring, and communicate effectively with homeowners and office staff. Growth opportunities into supervisory roles are available.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-efficiency systems and inverter equipment.
• Start-up documentation experience.
• Ability to read load calculations and system design layouts.
• NATE certification or technical training preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead residential HVAC system change-outs to spec.
• Oversee demolition and safe removal of existing equipment.
• Install new equipment per manufacturer specs and local code.
• Set and braze line sets, pressure test, evacuate, and charge systems correctly.
• Complete full start-up and commissioning; verify airflow and performance.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and office staff; train install helpers.

Job Duties

• Lead residential HVAC system change-outs (split systems, furnaces, condensers, heat pumps, air handlers)
• Oversee demolition and safe removal of existing equipment
• Install new equipment to manufacturer specifications and local code
• Set and braze line sets, pressure test, evacuate, and charge systems properly
• Complete full start-up and commissioning
• Verify airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical, and system performance
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and office staff
• Train and guide install helpers/apprentices
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and company vehicles

Preferred (But Not Required)

• Experience with high-efficiency systems and inverter equipment
• Sheet metal fabrication skills
• NATE certification or technical training
• Start-up documentation experience
• Ability to read load calculations and system design layouts
