Job summary

HI-VAC Air Conditioning Service in Sunrise, FL seeks an experienced HVAC installer for residential and light commercial projects. You will perform retrofit and changeout installations, working with ducted and ductless systems, piping, and refrigerant circuits, ensuring proper start-up, balancing, and customer consultation.

The role requires EPA Universal Certification and 2+ years of installation experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC installation experience
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Proficient in HVAC functional design and ductwork system installation
• General knowledge of HVAC low-voltage systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain all installer-based NATE Certifications
• Ability to test and balance HVAC systems
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record

Responsibilities

• Retrofit / changeout installs for residential and light commercial equipment
• Ducted and ductless systems
• Installing gas pipe, refrigeration pipe, duct work etc.
• Refrigerant systems, gas and electric furnaces, mini splits, and heat pumps
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Start up of new equipment, test and balance
• Consult with customer on repair, upgrade, and replacement options

Residential HVAC Install | $28.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday | 8:00am to 5:00pm | occasional overtime

Job Duties:

• Retrofit / changeout installs for residential & light commercial equipment

What We Are Looking for:

• EPA Universal Certification
