Job summary

HI-VAC Air Conditioning Service in Sunrise, FL is hiring an HVAC Installer for residential retrofit and light commercial work. The role focuses on installing ducted and ductless systems, gas piping, refrigeration piping, and reading wiring diagrams for precise balance and performance.

Expect 28.00–40.00 USD per hour depending on experience, with standard hours Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm and occasional overtime. Company benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Proficient in HVAC ductwork installation.
• Installer-based NATE Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Residential and light commercial retrofit/changeout installs.
• Installations include ducted and ductless equipment.
• Installing Gas Pipe.
• Installing Refrigeration Pipe.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Test and balance systems.
• Consult with customer on equipment and indoor air quality accessories.

Job Title: HVAC Installer

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience

Work Hours: Monday through Friday | 8:00am to 5:00pm | occasional overtime

Qualifications

• Valid driver's licenses and insurable driving record
• EPA Universal Certification
• 2 + years of HVAC Installation experience
• Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
• Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, troubleshooting and installation of all residential and light commercial systems
• General knowledge in all HVAC low voltage systems
• Obtain all Installer based NATE Certifications and keep status current
• Ability to test and balance systems
• High school diploma or its equivalent

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
