Job summary

Favarh is seeking a Residential Housing- Group Home Manager in Avon, CT for a full-time exempt role. The position supports a 1st shift schedule with some evenings and weekends to meet program needs. Reports to the Residential Housing Coordinator and Director within Residential Housing Services.

Primary duties include daily operations oversight, staff training, ensuring participant independence, medication administration, and documentation using Therap. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of adults with special needs.
• Behavioral experience preferred; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the residential program.
• Ensure staff follow procedures and train participants.
• Monitor participants' financial transactions and needs.
• Provide training materials for staff on leisure activities.

• Disburse medications per regulations.
• Counsel participants for minor adjustments and refer serious issues.
• Utilize Therap for documentation and staff training.
