Job summary

AVIDD Community Services of NJ is seeking an experienced Group Home Manager to oversee a residential home for individuals with IDD at Mt Tabor, NJ. The role includes supervising staff, scheduling, coordinating daily care, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The position requires a valid driver’s license and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Shift schedule includes Sunday 7am-3pm and Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm, with full-time responsibilities and benefits such as health insurance and a 403(b).

Responsibilities

• Supervise DSPs, Assistant Managers, and residential staff.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Oversee daily care for individuals with IDD.
• Support personal care (hygiene, mobility, feeding, medication oversight).
• Transport individuals to appointments.
• Maintain Therap documentation and electronic records.
• Participate in ISP meetings and care planning.
• Manage home operations including petty cash and resident funds.
• Respond to emergencies and provide on-call support.
• Ensure compliance with NJ DDD regulations.
