Job summary

Bedrock Property Management in Columbus, OH is seeking a Groundskeeper/Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of our apartment community both inside and out. This role is essential to creating a positive first impression and ensuring residents enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate enjoys outdoor and indoor work, has a strong eye for detail, and delivers exceptional customer service to residents and team members.

Qualifications

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, leadership, and residents.
• Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines efficiently.
• A passion for chasing excellence and providing exemplary customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness of grounds, including parking lot, buildings, and all common areas.
• Clean out vacated apartments.
• Assist the Service Team with service requests as needed.
• Address issues with landscaping and snow/ice removal.
• Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers even in difficult situations.
• Operating computers and other technological devices to access email, and company-utilized software.
• Meet task deadlines as assigned

Responsibilities

• Provides exemplary customer service to all residents proactively solving issues, and creating a warm and welcoming environment for all.
• Maintains the physical condition of the property.
• Utilizes hand tools and power tools to participate in upkeep.
• Picks up debris and removes other objects from the property.
• Responds to issues outside of normal work schedule when required.
• Professional and timely responses to all work orders.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness of vacant apartment homes making them ready for move in
• Maintain cleanliness of vacant apartment homes, models, and all common areas
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
