Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience servicing residential generators.
• Basic understanding of hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior technicians.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair generators and associated equipment (transfer switches, battery systems).
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks.
• Support load bank testing and generator performance assessments.
• Install and commission new generators and related electrical systems.
• Maintain records of work and parts used.
• Travel to customer sites as needed; organize work by orders and tools.
• Follow safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
