American Campus Communities is seeking a Service Technician for Granville Towers in Chapel Hill, NC. This role supports the Property Maintenance team, handles work orders, preventive maintenance, and vendor coordination to keep the property well-maintained for residents.

The ideal candidate has residential facilities maintenance experience, can work independently with established safety practices, and is willing to join an on-call rotation to respond to weather-related situations and after-hours

Qualifications

• Experience in residential facilities maintenance.
• Subject to after-hours on-call rotation; must be available to respond to inclement weather situations.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform work orders in a timely manner, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Close out work orders in the system, including using system tools for tracking.
• Assist in property turn process and coordinate with vendors for efficient execution.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks as assigned, to maintain property operations.
• Conduct inspections of public areas and resident apartments to ensure maintenance standards are met.
