Job summary

American Campus Communities is seeking a Service Technician to maintain Fort Collins, CO properties, perform work orders, support preventative maintenance, and ensure a safe, well-kept living environment for residents.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and safety-conscious with prior residential facilities maintenance experience, able to work independently and with the maintenance team, and willing to coordinate with vendors and property staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential facilities maintenance.
• Must be available for after-hours on-call rotation.
• Detail-oriented and safety-conscious with strong maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform work orders in a timely manner and ensure quality.
• Close out work orders in the system and track with tools.
• Assist in property turn processes and coordinate with vendors.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks and inspections of common areas and apartments.
• Safely operate and maintain facility equipment following safety protocols.
• Escort vendors on-site and facilitate their work.
• Keep shop and storage areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate with vendor services such as snow removal and landscaping.
• Participate in curb appeal and cleaning activities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
