Energy Resource Center in Colorado Springs is seeking an entry-level Energy Technician to improve home energy efficiency by installing insulation, sealing air leaks, and ensuring proper ventilation.

You will work on a crew of up to three technicians, use foam, mastic, caulking, and diagnostic tools, and perform general remodeling tasks as needed.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability, with field training provided and travel across Colorado to service regions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; pre-employment drug screening; background check.
• Field training provided.
• Willingness to travel across Colorado to service regions.
• Strong safety mindset and OSHA-related safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Installs insulation in attics, crawlspaces, and walls.
• Seals drafts with foam, mastic, caulking to improve energy efficiency.
• Uses diagnostic tools to assess air leakage and safety issues.
• Works on a crew of up to three technicians.
• Maintains safety, professional appearance, and teamwork.
• Performs general remodeling tasks as needed.
