Job summary

Rise Group is seeking a Residential Energy Specialist in Worcester, MA to conduct scheduled home energy assessments for utilities and program sponsors. You will identify energy-saving measures, prepare work plans, and present them to homeowners, with support to obtain certification within six months.

The role requires 2+ years in energy efficiency, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Competitive base+commission, travel daily, and diverse benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Two years of residential construction or energy-efficiency experience.
• Strong analytical skills and math aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Sales or other customer-facing experience.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel daily.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary studies welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough residential energy audits evaluating insulation, appliances, HVAC, lighting, and air quality.
• Perform in-home energy tests and install energy-saving measures.
• Use proprietary software to generate on-site assessment reports.
• Explain recommended energy-efficiency measures, benefits, costs and savings.
• Secure homeowner approval and coordinate rebates and financing options.
• Follow up to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Work toward BPI Building Analyst certification within six months.
