Job summary

Power Design, Inc. seeks a skilled Electrician to lead hands-on training for apprentices and staff in our training facility and on active job sites.

You will teach best practices, safety standards, and electrical installation requirements, while evaluating candidates and mentoring learners across classroom, virtual, and lab settings. The role demands a licensed electrician or Florida journeyman eligibility, 5+ years in commercial electrical construction, and strong English/Spanish communication

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrician (Journeyman or Master) or eligible for Florida Journeyman licensure.
• 5+ years experience in commercial electrical construction (multifamily/high-rise preferred).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred for training diverse learners.
• Prior supervisory/mentoring experience is a plus.
• Strong public speaking, planning, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person, hands-on technical training to apprentices and staff.
• Teach Best Practices, safety standards, and electrical installation procedures.
• Conduct technical evaluations for new hires and promotions.
• Mentor apprentices via classroom, virtual, and lab-based learning.
• Develop and maintain training content and assessments aligned with codes.
