Qualifications

• Licensed Electrician (Journeyman or Master) or eligible for Journeyman licensure in Florida.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in commercial electrical construction.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred for training delivery.
• Supervisory/leadership experience preferred for mentoring crews.
• Strong teaching ability with clear, practical explanations.
• Excellent public speaking and facilitation skills.
• Organized with strong time-management and planning.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Experience with instructor-led or field-based training preferred.
• Willing to adjust hours to support training needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person, hands-on training to apprentices, field employees, and office staff.
• Teach best practices, safety expectations, and electrical installation standards.
• Conduct technical evaluations for new hires and promotions.
• Mentor apprentices through classroom, virtual, and lab-based learning.
• Design and maintain training content, materials, and assessments.
• Partner with SMEs and field leaders to improve learning outcomes.
• Represent Power Design in the community through trade advocacy.
• Perform other duties as required.
