Job summary

IES Residential in Katy, TX is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to join our team. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential settings and handle service calls in homeowner-occupied homes.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, reading blueprints, running conduit, installing panels and fixtures, and delivering excellent customer service to homeowners. Two to four years of experience and NEC knowledge are required; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local codes.
• Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Experience with tools, testing equipment, and service work.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential settings.
• Handle service calls in homeowner-occupied homes.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in the field.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Run conduit (PVC, EMT, MC, Romex) and set t-poles.
• Install panels, outlets, switches, and fixtures.
• Work independently with a company service truck.
• Deliver excellent customer service to homeowners.
