Job summary

IES Residential is seeking a Residential Service Electrician to support our growing service division in Laredo, TX. This role focuses on residential service work, maintenance, and electrical repairs in both new construction and occupied homes.

You will perform service calls, troubleshoot panels and circuits, document work, and ensure NEC and OSHA safety standards are met while maintaining a professional appearance and company vehicle.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of residential service electrician experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of NEC codes and safe work practices
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Perform residential service calls, maintenance, and electrical repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair panels, breakers, circuits, lighting, outlets, GFCIs, and switches
• Complete home warranty and customer service work in occupied homes
• Document work completed and materials used
• Ensure all work meets NEC and OSHA safety standards
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and professional appearance
