Job summary

Fire & Ice Heating and Air Conditioning in Columbus, OH seeks a customer-focused Electrical Safety Advisor to inspect, diagnose, and recommend safe, code-compliant electrical solutions for residential homes.

You will educate homeowners on electrical safety risks, recommend repairs and upgrades, pursue service agreements, and collaborate with HVAC teams to deliver trusted, world-class service and measurable customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential electrical service experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and safety standards.
• Proven ability to diagnose and solve electrical issues.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls.
• Preferred: Licensed Electrician (State of Ohio preferred).
• Preferred: In-home sales or service sales experience.
• Experience presenting generators, EV chargers, panel replacements, and home electrical upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Electrical safety evaluations and service for residential homes.
• Diagnose electrical issues and identify safety hazards.
• Evaluate panels, wiring, grounding, surge protection, outlets, and other components.
• Recommend repairs, upgrades, and code-compliant solutions.
• Complete service work in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and customer records.
• Sales and customer education: educate homeowners on safety risks and solutions.
• Generate revenue through service agreements, panel upgrades, EV charger installs, and other residential services.
• Meet or exceed sales, conversion, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Follow up on leads and opportunities generated through service calls and marketing.
