Fire & Ice is seeking a skilled Electrical Install Technician to perform residential electrical installations, upgrades, and system improvements in the Columbus, OH area. You will represent the company in the field, ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of residential electrical experience, NEC knowledge, and the ability to read diagrams.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of residential electrical installation experience.
• Valid Indiana Electrical License (Journeyman or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and safe work practices.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install residential electrical systems including panels, circuits, outlets, lighting, surge protection, and grounding systems.
• Perform service upgrades, rewiring projects, and new equipment installations according to NEC standards.
• Diagnose electrical issues and provide clear, professional recommendations to homeowners.
• Ensure all installations meet local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding project scope, timelines, and system operation.
• Collaborate with dispatch, customer service, and other field technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and job status.
• Uphold company standards for cleanliness, professionalism, and customer care.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry best practices and new technologies.
