Job summary

Absolute Air Services is seeking an experienced Residential Electrical Foreman to lead its Portland, CT team while continuing to perform field service calls. You will establish standards, mentor electricians, and maintain high quality workmanship.

This leadership role blends hands-on field work with team development and process improvement. You will supervise, coach, and evaluate team performance, ensure code compliance and safety, and help drive department growth within a client-focused home

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut E-1 Electrical Contractor license required.
• Significant residential electrical service, repair, and installation experience.
• Previous leadership, foreman, field supervision, or team-lead experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, the NEC, and CT requirements.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to coach, develop, and hold team members accountable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Electrical Department and establish service standards.
• Interview and participate in selecting electricians and team members.
• Train, coach, and develop electricians as the department grows.
• Monitor performance, productivity, and customer experience.
• Ensure safety and CT code compliance across projects.
• Balance field work with leadership and administrative duties.
