Job summary

Absolute Air Services in Portland, CT seeks an experienced E-1 Licensed Electrical Foreman to lead its residential department from the field. You will run service calls, interview electricians, and develop your team while driving truck revenue and maintaining client satisfaction.

You will establish standards, provide technical guidance, and ensure compliance with Connecticut codes. This player-coach role offers growth and influence within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut E-1 Electrical Contractor license required.
• Significant residential electrical service, repair, and installation experience.
• Previous leadership, foreman, field supervision, or team-lead experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, NEC, and Connecticut requirements.
• Ability to coach and develop a team while maintaining field productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical department and establish service standards and best practices.
• Interview and select electricians; train, coach, and develop the team.
• Monitor performance, quality, safety, and customer experience; provide feedback.
• Maintain a revenue-producing service truck and oversee field operations.
• Ensure compliance with licenses, permits, and company standards.
