Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Residential Specialist to join our Lehigh Valley team in Allentown, PA.

This role provides direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting, with full-time hours and paid training. No experience is required; we offer training, daily pay options, and opportunities for NADSP certification and career advancement as you help people build life skills,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide hands-on support and physical assistance when needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene).
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Support daily living skills and independence.
• Help individuals participate in community activities, appointments, and events.
• Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment.
• Follow individualized support plans and goals.
