Supportive Concepts for Families is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for residential settings across the Harrisburg area. No experience is required and paid training is provided. Immediate openings are available.

You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives. You will assist with daily living tasks, personal care, meals, community participation, and provide companionship while promoting dignity and person-centered

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide hands‑on support and physical assistance when needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when necessary
• Supporting daily living skills and independence
• Helping individuals participate in community activities, appointments, and social events
• Providing companionship, encouragement, and emotional support
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment
• Following individualized support plans and goals
• Promoting dignity, respect, and person-centered care
