Supportive Concepts for Families is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) – Residential Specialists to empower individuals with IDD to live meaningful, independent lives in residential settings across Pennsylvania, including Pine Grove.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide hands-on support and physical assistance when needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Support daily living skills and independence.
• Help individuals participate in community activities, appointments, and social events.
• Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
• Follow individualized support plans and goals.
• Promote dignity, respect, and person-centered care.
