Job summary

The Arc of Centre County in Howard, PA is hiring a Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with IDD/A in home and community settings. You will provide person-centered care, assist with daily living activities, monitor health and safety, and help individuals build life skills while promoting independence.

Paid training is provided and full-time hours are available. No experience is required and training is paid; join a mission-driven team making a meaningful difference

Qualifications

Must be 18+ years old.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license required.
TB test and physical.
Able to lift 50 pounds and assist with physical supports.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to adults with IDD/A in residential group homes.
Assist with activities of daily living like cooking, hygiene, and routines.
Monitor health, safety, and well-being of individuals.
Support individuals in building life skills.
Provide transportation to community activities and appointments.
Promote independence and a person-centered environment.
