Job summary

The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking to hire a full-time entry-level Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct care for the individuals we serve with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You would work as part of a dedicated team to help individuals lead self-directed, meaningful lives.

DSPs earn $17.55/hour with a $1/hour shift differential and are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle during working hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living and household tasks (meal preparation, transportation, shopping, medication administration, personal care).
• Support individuals in living self-directed, meaningful lives within the community.
