Job summary

Meridian Waste in Greenville, SC is seeking a Residential Driver to operate a collection truck safely on a designated route and provide courteous waste removal services to customers. You will ensure vehicle readiness, follow safety standards, and complete daily reports and inspections in line with company policy.

The role requires a valid CDL with air brakes, prior truck-driving experience, and strong customer service and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Two years of prior experience driving heavy commercial trucks.
• Excellent reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper operation.
• Safely operate the truck along the designated route and service each customer as identified on the route sheet.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others to ensure timely and professional service.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain productivity standards.
