Job summary

UNITED COUNSELING SERVICE OF BENNINGTON COUNTY INC. seeks a Direct Support Professional - Residential, SSGH, Per Diem to support residents on an on-call basis.

You will implement treatment plans, assist in daily activities, and advocate for residents’ needs while working within a collaborative team. Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent); a bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a valid driver’s license and basic computer skills (typing and email).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or related human services field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Typing and navigating Email usage.

Responsibilities

• Participates in daily skill building with residents relative to personal care, independent living, and community involvement.
• Participates as a member of interdisciplinary team; assists with treatment plan development and provides case management.
• Maintains all documentation required by policy and procedure; submits payroll and client records.
• Performs housekeeping and cleaning duties; reports problems with facility, furnishings, vehicle, or grounds.
• In addition to the above, performs other duties as assigned.
