ICL is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the Bronx, NY to provide direct care to adults with developmental and/or physical disabilities in a residential setting. Onsite location in Bronx 10467 with an hourly rate of $19.8077.

Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, a DSP certificate, AMAP/SCIP-R/CPR & First Aid, and a NY Driver’s License; must be eligible to work in the United States.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; DSP Certificate.
• Experience: Direct care experience preferred.
• Certifications/Licenses: AMAP, SCIP-R, CPR and First Aid; NY Driver’s License; authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care and health support, incl. hygiene, grooming, toileting, medication administration (per AMAP), vital signs and medical appointments.
• Support nutrition and mealtime activities, including meal prep and safe food handling.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized residential environment (housing, fire safety, light maintenance).
• Promote development, independence, and community integration through skill-building, recreation, and transportation.
• Encourage interpersonal relationships, communication, money management, and leisure activities.
• Observe, document, and report progress; participate in planning, meetings, and training.
• Apply behavior management techniques and respond to emergencies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
