The Arc Carroll County Inc. is hiring a Residential Direct Support Professional in Taneytown, MD. The role focuses on supporting individuals with disabilities in a community living setting, implementing daily routines, and assisting with meals, personal care, and mobility.

Wage is $20.07/hour with a $2.00 weekend differential. Training is provided; no prior experience is required. Various shifts available including weekends.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid U.S. driver's license (not suspended/revoked)
• Ability to pass background, drug, and driving record checks
• Must complete required training including CPR, First Aid, Med Tech Certification
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and assist with transfers
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, and pushing
• Ability to assist with wheelchair handling, transfers, and securing individuals in vehicles

• Ability to complete required training courses, including CPR, First Aid, Med Tech Certification, and other DDA-mandated training

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, and pushing
• Ability to assist with wheelchair handling, transfers, and securing individuals safely in vehicles
