The Arc Carroll County in Westminster, MD is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Meaningful Day Program. Daytime shifts run Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, totaling about 30 hours per week.

Earn $19.68/hour with paid training, sick leave, and a 403(b) retirement plan. No experience required; DSP certification program offers bonuses in year one and beyond.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with 2+ years driving experience.
• Ability to pass background, drug, and driving record checks.
• Ability to complete required training courses, including CPR, First Aid, Med Tech Certification, and other DDA-mandated training.
• Ability to lift and manipulate up to 50 lbs frequently and assist with transfers.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, and pushing.
• Ability to assist with wheelchair handling, transfers, and securing individuals safely in vehicles.

The Arc Carroll County is seeking energetic and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Meaningful Day Program.

Schedule:

• 30 hours/week
• Monday–Friday
• Hours vary between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

What You’ll Do:
