Mosaic in Axtell is seeking a Direct Support Manager to oversee residential service operations and a team of direct support staff, ensuring regulatory compliance and budget adherence while fostering a warm, therapeutic environment for individuals served.

The role requires 3+ years of related experience with supervisory duties; a Bachelor's in psychology or related field is preferred. Certifications and driver’s license are required or obtainable after hire.

• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience, including at least 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience supporting people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards, medication administration guidelines, and basic budget management.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Ability to translate administrative guidance into actionable, everyday care routines.
• A patient, positive attitude and a passion for working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead & Inspire: Schedule, coach, and supervise direct support supervisors and staff to build a high-performing, compassionate team.
• Program Oversight: Coordinate and manage the implementation of individual program plans and monitor day-to-day operations.
• Advocacy & Support: Ensure individual medical, social, and programmatic files are accurately maintained using electronic documentation. Coordinate appointments and community activities for the people served.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain residential facilities and vehicles, prepare accurate administrative reports, and manage local financial accounts, petty cash, and grocery/supply purchasing.
• Safety & Compliance: Monitor safety guidelines, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and OSHA regulations across environments.
• Hands-On Leadership: Train and guide staff in positive, emotionally supportive interactions. Step in to work direct care shifts when needed to maintain required staffing ratios, and provide guidance during emergency situations on an on-call basis.
