The role requires a Food Management Certificate within 30 days of hire, 5 years of food service experience, and flexibility to work a Wed-Sun shift in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Food Management Certificate required to be completed within 30 days of hire.
• Five years of experience in the food service industry preferred, including catering, cooking, meal prep/planning, inventory, ordering, and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares menus to meet residents' needs and coordinates with supervisors, medical staff, and nutritionists.
• Orders food and supplies efficiently within budget.
• Directs preparation of all food for the program.
• Ensures kitchen equipment safety and sanitation.
• Implements instruction plans for clients in the kitchen.
• Maintains documentation and completes required food-service paperwork.
