Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct activities of student food service workers in the area.
• Assist in training and instruction of student employees; maintain records.
• Order food, maintain inventory, operate cash register; submit money to accounting.
• Responsible for cleaning, sanitation, and safety in the area.
• Operate equipment used in menu preparation; follow recipes.
• Perform catering duties including set‑up, service, and clean‑up; interact with customers.
• Maintain knowledge of portion sizes/ingredients; adhere to uniform policy.
• Participate in training to adapt to operation changes.
• Responsible for garbage removal and cardboard recycling.
• Conduct inventories daily/weekly/monthly as assigned by supervisor.
• Exercising functional supervision over student staff.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and apply safety practices.
• Apply safety-related knowledge in daily work.
