David Weekley Homes seeks an experienced Design City Coordinator to lead the development and coordination of residential plans and construction drawings in the Phoenix division. You will ensure compliance with municipal codes, community standards, and developer guidelines while guiding projects from initial design through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field preferred; or an applied technical degree in architectural design.
• Four or more years of experience working with construction documents and plans.
• Residential design experience required.
• Two or more years of management experience preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit recommended; not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities; prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly Team huddles, coordinate workloads, and hold Team Members accountable for results.
• Serve as a key point of contact for Division and project teams, providing updates during weekly market meetings.
• Participate in Preliminary and Final Market Product Development Meetings and lead market-specific First-Time Build and Model walks.
• Ensure architectural plans comply with municipal codes, permitting requirements, developer guidelines, and lot-specific requirements.
• Serve as the quality-control checkpoint for new plans, elevations, and plan revisions.
• Collaborate with Draftspersons to develop address-specific plans for single-family and multi-family projects across the division.
• Partner with the Design Production Manager to manage workflow, priorities, and established product deadlines.
• Facilitate problem-solving and collaboration among Team Members.
• Meet established monthly and quarterly department performance goals.
