LifeMoves Guadalupe Emergency Interim Housing (EIH) seeks a part-time Guadalupe Residential Service Coordinator to help keep the site safe, welcoming, and smoothly running in San Jose, CA. The role is frontline, responding to client needs and coordinating with staff to maintain a calm, supportive environment.

Responsibilities include site rounds, client move-ins/outs, and ensuring timely documentation, with a focus on trauma-informed care and respectful, compassionate service to neighbors

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2–3 years of consistent equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.
• Demonstrates care, respect, and empathy when working with people from all backgrounds, and is committed to DEIB principles and respectful engagement.
• Manages stress and emotions professionally, remaining calm under pressure while applying de-escalation techniques to ensure safety.
• Open to feedback and motivated to learn and grow in trauma-informed care, crisis support, and harm-reduction practices.
• Works effectively both independently and in a team; follows directions, communicates clearly, and seeks clarification when needed.
• Maintains clear, unbiased, and professional documentation and communication at all times.
• Proficient in using technology such as MS Word, Excel, and databases for administrative tasks.

• Respond to client, volunteer, donor, and visitor needs with professionalism and radical hospitality.
• Monitor site safety through rounds and camera observation to maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment.
• Report maintenance or pest issues promptly and assist with pest control and cleanliness efforts.
• Manage facility meals, supplies, and donations, ensuring accurate inventory and organized storage.
• Create reports, update shift logs, and participate actively in team meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality, appropriate boundaries, and professional conduct at all times.
• Conduct client move-ins, transitions, and move-outs with accurate documentation and a positive experience.
