Job summary

LifeMoves Guadalupe Emergency Interim Housing (EIH) seeks a Guadalupe Residential Service Coordinator to help keep the site safe, welcoming, and running smoothly. You will respond to client needs, coordinate with staff, volunteers, and visitors, and monitor safety rounds and site operations.

With 96 rooms across ADA-compliant facilities, the role emphasizes trauma-informed care, confidential documentation, and community partnerships to support clients toward stability and permanent housing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2-3 years related experience may substitute.
• Demonstrates care, empathy, and commitment to DEIB principles.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and use de-escalation techniques.
• Willingness to learn trauma-informed care, crisis support, and harm-reduction practices.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide calm, supportive crisis response and connect clients to resources.
• Respond to client, volunteer, donor, and visitor needs with professionalism and hospitality.
• Monitor site safety through rounds and camera observation.
• Report maintenance/pest issues and assist with cleanliness efforts.
• Manage facility meals, supplies, and donations, ensuring accurate inventory.
• Create reports, update shift logs, and participate actively in team meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality, appropriate boundaries, and professional conduct at all times.
• Complete all required trainings within deadlines, including CPR, Mental Health First Aid, Crisis Intervention, and database use.
• Attend continuing education opportunities to strengthen professional skills and uphold agency standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support program and organizational needs.
