Job summary

Open Sky Community Services in Massachusetts is hiring a Residential Counselor to support individuals in achieving greater independence in residential and community settings.

You will help with daily living activities, transportation, and community resources, while maintaining safety and accurate documentation. This role emphasizes person-centered planning and ongoing skill development within a trauma-informed workplace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record is required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered service and support plans and play an active role in their implementation.
• Provide support with daily living activities, skill development, and personal goal achievement.
• Assist individuals with accessing transportation and community resources as needed.
• Implement activities that promote community inclusion, relationship building, personal growth, and the development of valued social roles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment that promotes the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served.
• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
