Ibis Healthcare is seeking a Counselor for Residential Services to provide clinical intervention and case management for clients with chemical dependency or co-occurring disorders in a residential setting.

The role emphasizes evidence-based therapies, 24/7 care, and collaboration with a diverse client population including women, men, and expectant mothers. Strong communication and critical thinking are essential to address complex needs.

Competenze

• Master's degree in a Human Services-related field and at least 1 year of related work experience. (Child welfare programs require 2 years of experience with at-risk populations and a child welfare certification.)
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical records, procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports and document clinical activities and effectively communicate with managers, patients, service providers, and other stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Conduct client assessments and evaluations, including screening for co-occurring disorders.
• Develop and implement treatment plans addressing chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders.
• Create discharge plans with provisions for co-occurring disorders when identified.
• Monitor client fee payments and refer clients to financial staff for assistance.
• Retrieve drug screen results and document them in the client’s file.
• Provide case management services for clients.
• Offer individual, group, and family counseling as needed.
• Prepare and maintain clinical records within the required timeframe.
• Submit reports as necessary.
• Participate in clinical staff meetings and team discussions.
• Attend weekly therapeutic community meetings.
• Make referrals to appropriate resource agencies and document outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention when required.
• Assist in training and education of staff, interns, and students.
• May require a valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.
