Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Residential Coordinator to manage the Senior Women’s Shelter on shift, support residents, and help them transition to housing. The role covers Housing First and trauma-informed care, with a focus on safety, program data, and life-skills instruction.

The position requires an Associates Degree or equivalent human services experience and at least one year of direct human services work, plus ability to obtain necessary certifications.

Qualifikationen

• Associates Degree in a related area or the equivalent experience in human services.
• One-year direct human service experience.
• Good organizational and planning skills; works well as part of a team.
• Complete program credentialing process, to include criminal and civil background checks within 30 days of hire.
• Willing to obtain first aid, automated external defibrillator, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications.

Aufgaben

• Directly responsible for the management of the facility during their shift.
• Provide service provision for participants in the program and assist residents with staying in the program and obtaining housing on exit.
• Maintain safety and wellbeing of all residents and ensure cleanliness of the facility.
• Provide life skills classes and maintain client files and program data entry/maintenance.
• Develop specialty areas such as housing, employment, legal services, benefits as needed by the program.
