Job summary

Behavioral Health Network, Inc (BHN) in Worcester, MA seeks a Residential Coordinator to support individuals in ACCS residential group homes, ensuring health, safety, dignity and quality of life.

You will coordinate medical appointments, oversee medication administration, supervise staff, and maintain records; MAP certification required within six months; valid driver’s license; strong communication; commitment to empowerment and community integration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus three years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s Degree or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in human services.
• MAP certification within the first six months of employment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle during all working hours.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with internet, word processing, electronic records, and email systems.
• Commitment to individual empowerment, human rights, personal growth, and community integration.

Responsibilities

• Support the health, safety, dignity, and quality of life of individuals served.
• Coordinate medical appointments, follow-up care, and multidisciplinary team communication.
• Oversee medication administration and maintain required MAP documentation.
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency services, including on-call support.
• Implement ISP goals and strategies that promote independence and community integration.
• Complete and review electronic health records, assessments, progress summaries, and required reports.
• Communicate with staff, families, healthcare providers, pharmacies, and outside agencies.
• Monitor residential safety, maintenance needs, fire drills, and property conditions.
• Support benefits management, including Social Security, health insurance, food assistance, and housing subsidies.
• Provide supervision, training, and administrative support to residential staff.
