Role Summary

Our San Francisco, CA team is looking for a committed Residential Construction Project Manager to take charge of our home building initiatives. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of these projects, from initial planning through final delivery, while maintaining strict budget control, scheduling accuracy, and superior craftsmanship. We are looking for someone who loves residential development and excels at leading multifaceted teams.

Core Duties

• Direct residential building projects to ensure they are completed on schedule and within financial parameters.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, vendors, and trade partners to guarantee all project requirements are satisfied.
• Perform frequent site visits to track development and help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team.
• Maintain transparent communication with homeowners, offering regular progress reports and resolving any questions that emerge.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of project timelines, financial records, and essential paperwork.
• Address and settle any disputes or technical challenges that occur during the building phase.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure full compliance with all relevant building regulations.
• Cultivate a supportive and productive atmosphere for all stakeholders and staff members.

Required Background

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar discipline.
• At least five years of professional experience managing residential construction projects.
• Deep understanding of building materials, construction methodologies, and current codes.
• Demonstrated capacity to balance various projects at once while hitting key milestones.
• Superior leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
• Expertise in utilizing industry-standard project management software.
• High level of precision and an aptitude for solving complex problems.
• Possession of a California contractor's license is considered an advantage.
