Schaeffer Homes is seeking a Residential Project Manager to lead multiple new home projects in New Jersey. The role demands a professional demeanor, excellent organizational and time management skills, and a proactive, self-starting work style across challenging weather and schedules.

You will coordinate with trade contractors and in-house trades to deliver on-time, on-budget homes while maintaining site safety and compliance with building codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with another Home Builder preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to work long hours, including nights/weekends as needed due to construction schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage 5-15 concurrent new home projects at any given time.
• Work with trade contractors and in-house trades to keep the job moving forward.
• Maintain the security and safety of all building sites.
• Attend weekly departmental meetings and client meetings.
• Complete daily quality assurance on every home under management.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant building and safety codes and regulations.
• Find creative solutions to jobsite issues that arise.
• Inspect material deliveries, ensuring deliveries match orders.
• Fuel and help maintain company trucks and other machinery.
• Maintain a professional, brand-consistent demeanor at all times.
