Schumacher Homes is seeking a Construction Manager to drive on-site home construction, coordinate trades, and ensure quality, time and homeowner satisfaction. The role involves partnering with customers to realize their dream home and leading pre-construction activities with the leadership team.

The ideal candidate has proven residential construction experience, strong technical know-how, and comfort with smartphones and tablets used for communication and project tracking.

Qualifications

• Prior scattered-site residential construction experience (preferred).
• Technical construction knowledge to understand construction processes and terminology to assist in management of field personnel and systems.
• Computer experience - the ability to use technology (Smart Phone, I-Pad). Experience with Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to build their dream home and coordinate trades to meet quality and time targets.
• Build homes within time, cost, quality and homeowner satisfaction standards.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings with General Manager, Customer Coordinators and homeowners.
