Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. in Wytheville, VA seeks a General Operations Manager with deep knowledge of custom residential construction and production builds.

You will lead sales, production, and personnel, mentor staff, and drive profitability while maintaining strong relationships with local vendors and customers. Ideal candidates will be from the Wytheville/Tri-Cities area with a track record of managing multiple homes and a servant-leader approach to leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of custom residential construction.
• Familiar with production building (multiple homes at one time).
• Servant-leader management style.
• Willingness to be from/familiar with Wytheville/Tri-Cities area and local vendors.

Responsibilities

• Review new leads with Sales Team.
• Review advertising and approve budget.
• Weekly updates with Division President.
• Review sales pipeline, contracts, Starts, Warranty, Settlements, etc.
• Review projections and challenges with managers & Corporate leadership.
• Job inspections when necessary.
• Final review meetings and plan reviews.
• Recruit/hire/train/mentor/supervise employees, subs and vendors.
• Networking and subcontractor management.
• Negotiate contracts and hire subs and suppliers.
• Review overhead costs and general P&L.
• Address customer concerns and communicate resolutions.
