Job summary

Software Placement Group in Wytheville, VA seeks an experienced General Operations Manager to lead branch operations, sales and production for our office clientele and staff. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of custom residential construction, experience with production building, a hard-working, servant-leader mindset, and the ability to coordinate vendors, subs, and teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of custom residential construction required.
• Experience with production building (multiple homes) preferred.
• Servant-leader management style and people development.
• Ability to oversee branch operations, sales and production.

Responsibilities

• Review new leads with Sales Team
• Review advertising and approve budget
• Updates with Division President weekly
• Review sales pipeline, contracts, starts, warranty, settlements, etc.
• Review projections and challenges with managers & Corporate leadership
• Recruit/hire/train/mentor/supervise employees, subs and vendors
• Negotiate contracts & hire subs and suppliers
• Review overhead costs and general P&L
• Address customer concerns and communicate resolutions
