Job summary

Banner Built Homes is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee all on-site activities for the assigned project, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedule. You will assist with logistical planning and execution at the designated community and development to drive project success.

You will lead the on-site team, coordinate with the Project Manager, manage subcontractors, monitor safety, quality, and progress, and ensure milestones are communicated clearly and achieved on

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience managing onsite construction
• 3+ years of management/supervisor experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of all construction trades and regulations
• Highly organized and task oriented
• Motivated leader with great people skills
• Interpretation of plan sets and accountability for subcontractors
• Experience with heavy machinery for handling project materials
• Experience with residential codes and standards
• Working knowledge of Smartsheets and Google Suite

Responsibilities

• Review project documents (site plans, architectural plans, permits, contracts) to ensure delivery conforms to specifications
• Anticipate and mitigate problems across trades and develop contingency plans
• Collaborate with Project Manager to resolve critical issues affecting schedule
• Track weekly starts and closeout activities and ensure timely inspections
• Prepare status reports and updates for stakeholders
• Maintain detailed daily logs and an accurate project schedule
• Ensure milestone tasks are accurately conveyed with the PM
• Lead on-site construction team and subcontractors through clear communication and accountability
• Lead subcontractor meetings to coordinate work and quality
• Develop and maintain good relationships with subcontractors to uphold manpower and quality standards
• Coordinate owner handoffs upon unit completion
