Job summary

Brookfield Residential in Scottsdale seeks an Assistant Superintendent to support planning and coordination of construction procedures, schedules, and material requirements. You will inspect ongoing work to ensure alignment with project specs and Brookfield Residential Quality Standards.

You will manage subcontractors to meet budgets and quality goals, maintain customer relationships with timely communication, and help keep the project on schedule while complying with governmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Superintendent on commercial, residential, or industrial building construction.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Safely construct homes on schedule and within budget.
• Deliver high-quality homes through the management of subcontractors, ensuring full compliance with contractual requirements.
• Motivate subcontractors and suppliers to achieve the level of quality and performance required to meet company objectives.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of construction details when interacting with customers to ensure homes meet or exceed expectations.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships through timely execution and responsive service, driving overall satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable governmental regulations related to land development and residential construction within the jurisdiction.
• Adhere to established quality control inspection procedures and guidelines.
• Complete all quality control punch lists.
• Support and maintain adherence to the construction schedule.
• Complete homeowner walk through lists within one (1) week and obtain customer sign-off.
