Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes in Austin is seeking a Community Director to manage, market, and maintain the apartment community while optimizing staff resources. You will lead a high-performing team, oversee budgeting, leasing, and resident relations, and implement safety programs to ensure property success and resident satisfaction.

The role requires on-site leadership, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with residents, vendors, and leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of on-site management operations experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
• Yardi software experience preferred.
• Ability to travel within metropolitan areas and attend company functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing on-site team through coaching and communication.
• Create and monitor the property's operating budget.
• Lease the community and market it effectively.
• Maintain positive resident relations.
• Oversee make-ready and service request processes.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable; review payroll.
• Coordinate with residents, investors, vendors, and leadership.
• Implement and maintain risk management and safety programs.
