Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans (Conventional, VA, FHA, Jumbo, and Portfolio products).
• Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and referral sources.
• Interview prospective borrowers to analyze financial and credit data, determine objectives, and advise on product and pricing guidelines.
• Gather required documentation and work closely with processing and underwriting teams to ensure timely loan closings.
• Stay current with evolving mortgage guidelines, industry trends, and compliance regulations.

Myers Capital Hawaii is seeking an experienced Residential & Commercial Underwriter & Closer to join our growing team. As a premier mortgage brokerage and direct private lender, we take pride in delivering exceptional service and custom financing solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in the industry, a deep understanding of the Hawaii real estate market, and a genuine commitment to client success.

In this role you will build and maintain relationships with real estate professionals, builders, and past clients while guiding borrowers through the entire journey, from the first consultation to closing, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans (Conventional, VA, FHA, Jumbo, and Portfolio products).
